All are welcome to build a folder dedicated to kites used in the world of water skiing.

Related is the kiteboarding, kitesurfing, powered-anchored kiting (powered towing of the kite wings), parasailing, ski-kite flying, aqua-kiting, inflatable wings towing over water, etc. The water-interface involves a "ski" or planing or paravaning mechanics in conjunction with a wing tethered for the kiting action. There is rich history involved. Innovation and invention play a role. Showmanship and gymnastics get involved. Accidents are hopefully avoided, but injury and death form part of the story. Pride and prejudice color commercial adventures over many products serving this water-ski-kite world; there are untenable claims that give tension to the growth of activities and products. In all, the water world for kiting that involves a skiing element is the topic of this folder. All are invited to advance the history.
