  13. Paramotor National Kiting Contest Swept By Flat Top Powered Paragliding Team!!!  During kiting activity one sees the resistive part (the mass of the person) moving about relative to fixed earth points; one sees also both feet leaving the ground while the resistive part provides still the mass attracted by gravity to power the kiting being done during the glide back to feet on ground; during the gliding kite portion the kite (wing, tethers, resistive masses) is still a kite but a gliding kite; the same gliding kite is fact when a person glides more and even perhaps soars with updrafts; it is all kiting activity.   Different contest would be to have the kiting pilots face the wind and kite without looking at the wind; such would train controlling for paragliding and paramotoring. As shown, the pilots are training their nerves opposite to what they would need in paragliding where one faces the wind.
  14. 12 Year Old Paraglider Pilot Kiting    Notice his motions and mini-glides off the ground; the same dynamics occurs if his feet would be off the ground for a long time by choice of using slopes or thermals; the result is still a gliding kite system. Paragliders are gliding kites. True paraglider pilot knows that he or she is kiting when kite gliding.  The voice and the young pilot confirm that the kiting skills are used in kiting the kite even when feet are off the ground in gliding mode.
  15. The wing and tethers do not know whether or not your feet are on or off the ground. During running, some off-the ground gliding is occurring. All is kiting whether touching ground or not touching the ground.
