Members of the world hang gliding community generally share some common ethics
  • We respect the copyright and trademarks of manufacturers and serving companies in order to maintain order, integrity in information, safety through accurate information reference, protection of inventive and leading legacies, encourage their vitality that they may thrive to further positively advance the systems we fly and use.

For instance, such respect and integrity of ethical positioning may inform decisions to shun trademark thieves while they persist in injuring others in our community. The shun could include disallowing of advertising by a trademark thief, avoidance of purchasing the thief's products regardless of the quality of the products or services coming from the thief. On balance, the injury to one of us by a thief could receive fair attention by careful discernment of what could be done to appreciate the products and services of the injured parties (direct and indirect tree of reduced persons and companies).
