James Hobson

Flex-Wing Hang Glider 
Gold Air Award

for his contributions to the amateur sport of hang gliding.
James in 1962 built his Rogallo Wing Hang Glider,
flew it,
and generously shared the experience
with the world in national print and television
to help seed the modern renaissance
of foot-launch hang gliding.
