Open LIFT questions

Send your questions and let us all see what we might do about the questions!

  1. Do tubercles help hang gliders?   Whale bumps?
  2. What are the possible applications for Safe Splat™ ?
  3. Will there be a triplane hang glider club?
  4. Does hang gliding really need any promoting? What if none of us promoted hang gliding; then what might happen?
  5. Will eHG be the end game for the hang glider movement?
  6. Will manufactures be fair to each other and to us with respect to protecting the rights of company trade names? There is one very offensive breach that is costing the hang glider movements much peace; each of may know the core facts and make a decision in integrity. What will you do about honoring Seedwings
  7. How to understand weaklinks in the towing arena?
  8. Should forums' moderators enforce the forum's conduct rules?
  9. Third-policy insurance policies arranged by clubs and associations:
    1. How many of our hang gliding community have had others given benefits from an association's third-party insurance because of our incident?
    2. Do the policies pay for rescue efforts?
    3. Are the policies fully available for study?
    4.
  10. We know that the hung pilot behind the triangle control frame (A-frame) was in a hang glider by 1908 in Breslau; we seek all earlier instances of the same. The mechanical functioning of such design stayed with manned glider, manner hang gliders, manned aqua kite glider, and gyro-kite-gliders after 1908. We often use the same mechanics today.   Please send in instances earlier than 1905. Thanks.  Powered aircraft in first decade of 1900s used the same mechanics; then powered aircraft modified the structure as pilots were moved up to the wing and above the wing; the resulting undercarriage then specialized to hold wheels and pontoons for landing operations.
