Jacob Christian Hanson Ellehammer
... giving foundation evidence to mechanical arts used in hang gliders

Dane Ellehammer had battened flexible wing kites and gliders and powered craft.. He had pendulumed pilot behind cable-stayed TCF. He had wheels on basebar. He utilized downtubes in various ways as he adjusted for power operations. He used pendulumed pilot on swing seat for operating pitch control augmented by horizontal rear plane.   Whether he knew about the 1887 Beeson patent or not is being studied where was instructed bi-lobe and keel-hung pilot and trapeze for pilot. And whether the 1908 hang glider in Breslau with cable-stayed TCF just as we so often use exactly today was known by Ellehammer or vice versa is not known yet in our studies.

In 1906 Ellehammer had good progress in flight.
