Kite Festivals and AWE
Watching kite festivals' interface for energy kite systems development ...
Invited: Notes, observations, images, commentary, and planning that
mix kite festivals with flows affecting the development of airborne wind
energy conversion systems.
- Each city in the world might hold a
recurring kite festival. At such festivals there might be someone
demonstrating kite systems that do tasks beyond the already important
tasks of entertainment, recreation, exercise, socialization, inspiring,
teaching, sport competition, education, advertising, trade, community
integrating, praying, celebrating, ... We look for an
increase of working kite systems that generate electricity, pump water,
pick and place objects, support sky living, and much ore.
- Knowing when and where kite festivals
are is part of the planning process for getting AWES into kite
festivals. Promoting events with prizes could be part of the AWE
movement. Locality and schedule and program of
events; contact persons. We are growing a database. All are
invited to supply information.
- Sport-AWE. Competitive
kite-energy events at festivals. Working kites demonstrated;
competitions.
