Safest Human Flight Yet?

A large kite festival has an aggregate lift of several tons.

Its simple to integrate such a collection of kites by connecting them all to the
same loadpath network. These kites are locally free to comply with wind
direction and turbulence.

A set of payload lines can converge from this "kite cloud" to a large structure
like Saraceno's proposed Flying Plaza, as a public space.

A "string tripod" from the surface to the payload will fully stabilize it.

Such "aggregate stability" cancels local failures. Any required safety-factor
can be designed in. There is no way all the kites will suddenly crash. As the
wind dies, the kites retire in a gradual sequence.
